Metrics and dimensions

Metric definitions

These definitions describe the canonical tracker and platform aggregates. They should be interpreted only for completed runs in the selected tracker and period.

Definitions and calculation context for Digraph’s reporting metrics.

Visibility score

At platform level, visibility score is the percentage of completed runs with at least one qualifying mention: mention-bearing runs divided by completed runs, multiplied by 100. The tracker-day value is the average of available platform values.

Recommendation rate

Recommendation rate is the percentage of eligible mention records classified as recommended: recommended mentions divided by eligible mentions, multiplied by 100. The tracker-day rate is recomputed from the total eligible and recommended mentions for the day.

Sentiment score

Sentiment score is the arithmetic mean of available numeric sentiment scores from the relevant mention records. It is unavailable when no eligible sentiment values exist. Do not treat an unavailable value as neutral.

Share of voice

Share of voice is calculated within the configured competitor set, from observed brand/entity mentions. It is a relative measure for that set and scope—not a market-wide share estimate. It is unavailable when there is no eligible competitor-set denominator.
