Track
Sources and competitors
Sources reveal the domains and URLs cited in tracked AI answers. Competitors make the relative context explicit, so you can see where coverage differs for the same prompt and platform scope.
Sources
Source views aggregate observed citations by domain and URL. They show what the tracked answers cited; they do not prove a source caused an answer or guarantee that gaining a citation will change a future response.
- Filter by platform and date before comparing source counts.
- Review the underlying answer when a source is new or changes sharply.
- Distinguish brand-owned domains from third-party sources where the data provides that classification.

Competitors
Competitor views compare brands within the configured tracker competitor set. Add only meaningful alternatives, because adding or removing competitors changes the share-of-voice denominator and historical interpretation.
A practical investigation
Start with the prompt and platform where your brand is absent or not recommended. Read the answer, record which competitors and sources are present, then decide whether the next action is content coverage, authority work, technical remediation, or a different prompt strategy.
