AI Overview monitoring
Run category, comparison, and buying questions in Google and record whether an AI Overview appears and what it says about your brand.
Google AI Overviews summarize an answer above the classic results and link to the sources behind it. Digraph asks your buyer questions in Google up to 250 times each, using real virtual machines, and saves every AI Overview with its date and linked sources so you can see whether your brand is named, recommended, or cited.

How AI Overviews and other Google AI features differ from the classic list of results.
Define the questions, valid answers, competitors, and citation evidence before comparing results.
Confirm Googlebot and other crawlers can read the pages you want cited.
Ranking on page one does not mean the AI Overview names you. Digraph keeps the question, the overview text, the linked sources, and the competitors together, so you can tell a citation from a mention and a one-off overview from a repeated pattern.
Run category, comparison, and buying questions in Google and record whether an AI Overview appears and what it says about your brand.
Inspect the pages linked in each AI Overview and check whether your own pages or independent sources carry the evidence.
See which brands the overview names for the same question and how that set changes over time.
Read AI Overviews beside ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and the other systems Digraph checks, since each answers differently.
A durable program records what it measured, why a change matters, and what the team does next.
01
Pick the searches that matter to buyers, with the market and language you sell in.
02
Each question is asked up to 250 times, because AI Overviews can change between searches.
03
Open the linked pages behind each overview and find the gaps in your own and third-party evidence.
04
Improve the page or source that matters, then compare the same questions before and after.
Not every Google search shows an AI Overview. Report how often an overview appears separately from how often it names your brand, and keep the market, language, and date beside every result.

No. Google says pages must be indexed and eligible to show a snippet, but there are no extra technical requirements, and an overview may link pages that are not in the top classic results. Track the overview itself rather than assuming your ranking carries over.
Make sure the pages are crawlable, indexed, and allowed to show snippets. Answer the question directly and specifically, keep facts consistent across your site, and earn mentions on independent sites Google already trusts for the topic. None of these guarantees inclusion, so measure the same questions before and after a change.
Overviews depend on the query, location, language, time, and Google’s systems at that moment. That is why Digraph asks each question many times and reports repeated patterns instead of a single result.
